- Why do I want to enroll in Response Rewards?
- Besides helping ease the load on the power grid, you get a great opportunity to lower your energy costs. We'll drop your Off-Peak and On-Peak rates - most of the time, you'll be operating at a much lower rate.
- How many hours of Critical Peak Pricing (CPP) will occur?
- 300 hours annually, or about 3.4% of all hours in the year.
- How much notice will I get that CPP is approaching?
- In all cases, we will give you as much advance notice as possible, but your notice will never be less than 1 hour.
- How high can the rate be during CPP?
- The CPP rate will be a set amount equal to about 6 times the On-Peak rate (or 10 times the Off-Peak rate).
- How will I know when I'm entering CPP?
- We will alert you via your pager, text messaging cell phone and/or computer e-mail account as well as send you a FAX.
- How long am I committed to the Response Rewards program?
- By enrolling, you agree to participate in Response Rewards for 1 year.
