Converting to Natural Gas
Switching to natural gas is easy and the investment you make will quickly be recovered through the savings you'll see.
Following are a few of the steps you may experience when you request to connect natural gas to your business:
- Service Line Installation - WPS provides a portion of the service line — the gas pipe that runs between the gas main and meter. If additional portions of service line are needed, you will be responsible for the charge. Contact WPS at 877-444-0888 to discuss your options and costs.
- Re-piping, correcting safety hazards and converting appliances to natural gas - WPS encourages you to select a contractor who follows all code requirements when converting to natural gas.
- Heating Equipment Estimates - WPS suggests getting two or three estimates when considering the replacement of your furnace.
