WPS Farm Show - Oshkosh, WI Join us at the 57th Annual WPS Farm Show on the EAA Grounds on March 28-30. The annual show attracts about 20,000 visitors to the three day agricultural expo that features demonstrations of the latest farm technologies and equipment and boasts a wide range of agricultural services.

Dam Safety Awareness Week Governor Scott Walker and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources have declared April 2-8 Dam Safety Awareness Week. The purpose of the week is to emphasize the importance of safety near dams and on waterways to help prevent accidents. Many of the accidents and fatalities that occur near dams could be prevented by using common sense, practicing safety, staying clear of dams and understanding the dangers to be found near them.

WPS operates 17 hydroelectric facilities on the Wisconsin, Peshtigo, Tomahawk and Menominee rivers.

Wisconsin's Tornado & Severe Weather Awareness Week Wisconsin Emergency Management promotes this week as a good opportunity for families, schools and businesses to test their emergency plans about what to do and where to go when severe weather strikes. Please check out our storm safety tips as you prepare your plans.

Remember the statewide tornado drill will take place on April 20.

WPS Volunteer Awards - Green Bay, WI WPS is again honored to sponsor the WPS Volunteer Awards which supported the Volunteer Center of Brown County's mission: "-- creating a stronger community by engaging volunteers to support the nonprofit partners". This inspirational event will take place on April 27 at the KI Convention Center. Recipients and runners-up will be announced at that time.

Solar Olympics This year UW-Green Bay is the host for the annual, one-day Solar Olympics renewable energy competition for participating SolarWise schools. Throughout the day students participate in a variety of challenges.

WPS Kids Power Run The WPS Kids Power Run is a three quarter mile long run for children ages 10 and younger. All groups run through the Lambeau Players’ Tunnel into the stadium bowl for a lap around the field. This is held in conjunction with the Cellcom Green Bay Marathon.
