Hydroelectric Plant Relicensing Effort

Grandfather Falls Hydro Plant
Our purpose is to provide you with a comprehensive informational resource as we renew the federal operating license of the Grandfather Falls and Tomahawk Hydroelectric Power Plants in northern Wisconsin. Both licenses of the Tomahawk and Grandfather Falls Hydro electric projects will expire in 2018.
Relicensing a hydro facility takes about five to seven years and there is much opportunity for community and public input as we follow the established relicensing guidelines of state and federal agencies.

Tomahawk Hydro Plant
Community input meetings were held August 16 and 17, 2011 to seek public input and learn more about the hydro relicensing process.
