UW-Marinette Grant
To recognize returning adult students who show academic promise and are planning to earn a bachelor's degree.
Qualifications
To qualify for this award, applicants must:
- Be 22 years of age or older when returning to college.
- Be entering as a freshman or sophomore at the University of Wisconsin - Marinette.
- Reside in WPS's territory.
- Demonstrate financial need.
- Demonstrate academic promise.
Students from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Community involvement is desirable, although not required, and will support your overall application.
Awards
These awards are $250 per semester for part-time students and $500 per semester for full-time students, to a maximum of $2,000 per recipient, providing the student continues to meet the eligibility criteria.
Selection
The grant subcommittee of the UW-Marinette will grant the Awards.

- Submit an application for admission to UW-Marinette.
- Complete a Wisconsin Public Service Foundation, Inc. Grant Application.
- Request two letters of recommendation from employer(s) and/or educator(s).

Notification
Initial recipients will be notified by mail and must be enrolled at UW-Marinette for the fall semester to receive their grants.
