An Investment In your Farm's Future

When Wisconsin Public Service first introduced the Farm Rewiring Program it was the first of its kind in the state. Ever since, farmers throughout northeast Wisconsin have gone about the task of bringing their farms' electrical systems up to code and ready for tomorrow. It's how we're helping families ensure a bright and prosperous future for their farming operation.

Endorsed by the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin (PSCW) and the Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP), the Farm Rewiring Program addresses three crucial objectives:

There's also a generous financial package involved. The deal is simple. Public Service pays the first $1,000, then splits up to $18,000 fifty-fifty with you. That means we're in for as much as $10,000. And, we'll finance up to $15,000 of your part for five years at 3%.

If you're a Public Service farm electric customer, you're eligible to apply for the Farm Rewiring Program. Customers who have already participated in the Farm Rewiring Program are allowed to participate again after a five-year period, as long as their initial farm-rewiring loan has been paid in full.
