You or someone you know may be eligible for energy assistance through the Home Energy Assistance Program and/or Keep Wisconsin Cool/Warm Fund.

Home Energy Assistance Program

The Wisconsin Home Energy Assistance Program offers eligible customers several types of assistance:

  • Home heating assistance
  • Electric assistance for energy costs not used for heating
  • Crisis assistance for energy emergencies
  • Furnace assistance for repair or replacement of nonoperating heating equipment
  • Weatherization assistance to keep homes warmer in winter and cooler in summer

The fund is a statewide nonprofit charitable effort to keep heat and power on for Wisconsin residents most vulnerable in energy-related emergencies.
