Reading My Bill
We've incorporated the following features to help make your billing statement
as easy to read and understand as possible. To help better understand your bill,
view an explanation of the billing terms
used on your monthly billing statement. If you are signed up for Budget Billing,
learn how to read your Budget Billing Statement.

- Account Number
Your account number has expanded from 7 digits to 15.
If you use a third-party online bill payment service, you may need to inform them
about the account number change. If you are a WPS
e-Bill customer, your account number will be automatically converted; no action is
needed on your part.
- Bill Date
The term "Bill Date" indicates the date on which your
bill is issued. This replaces the previous "Billing Period" term, which indicated
the span of time covered by your bill.
- Customer Name
The customer name on your bill now appears with each
individual listed on a separate line. If you only have one name listed on the account,
you will not notice a change. If your bill is addressed to you and a spouse, or to you
and another party, you will notice a change. For example, a bill previously addressed
to "John and Jane Doe," will now appear as follows:
JOHN DOE
JANE DOE
1234 UTILITY CT
GREEN BAY WI 54307
- Summary Bill Invoice Number
If you're a Summary Billing customer, your
summary sheet now shows an "Invoice Number." This unique number identifies your summary
bill, all of the accounts that are being billed together and the amounts due. If you are
unable to include your summary bill stub with your payment, please be sure to include
the invoice number with your payment.
Other Changes
You may notice other minor billing changes as a result of the new billing system.
