Three-Level Pricing Programs
New options to ease demand, save money and help the environment
Energy costs can be a significant part of your monthly expenses. Wisconsin
Public Service understands and has new ways to help you reduce those costs.
It's called Three-Level Pricing, and it consists of two programs:
When you shift your energy use to certain times, you're helping to reduce the load
on the power grid, which ultimately helps the environment. And, of course, you
help reduce your energy costs, too.
Is Three-Level Pricing right for you?
Three-Level Pricing may not be beneficial for everyone:
- You're a good candidate for Three-Level Pricing if you:
- Are able to reduce electric use on short notice, or shift electric use
to lower rate periods
- You're a GREAT candidate if you also:
- Use an electric water heater
- Use an electric space heater
- Use a large amount of electricity
- You're NOT a good candidate for Three-Level Pricing if you:
- Use very little electricity (less than $25 per month)
- Do not want to give up comfort and convenience for savings
How much can you save?
Although rates fluctuate, these examples will give you an idea of the
differences you can expect if you participate in the Response Rewards or
Time-of-Use Rewards programs.
