WPS is the proud owner and operator of this 137.8-megawatt wind farm on more than 4,000 acres of land in Dodge and Fond du Lac Counties.
The Forward Wind Park began commercial operation in 2008. It has 86 turbines that stand over 262 feet tall. The estimated annual energy produced is 330,000,000 kilowatt-hours ... enough to power 40,000 homes.
